Whatever your hair texture, Twist Salon is dedicated to teaching you how to maximize what you have, naturally.
And to help prepare you for your first visit, here are some common questions to help get you started.

  • What is a Twist Cut?
    The Twist Cut is our signature service for all hair that has any sort of a bend. This is an experience that always involves a consultation, a dry cut, curl coaching and styling tips. If you have any hair goals or photos bring them to your appointment.
  • How should I arrive at the salon for my Twist Cut?
    Please arrive with your hair 100% dry & in its natural texture. Wash day or second day hair is best. No hat, clips, ponytails, braids, or buns as we need to see your curl pattern for this dry cut.
  • Is it okay to have products in my hair?
    Light products are okay. We want to see your curl pattern. Please avoid using heavy butters or oils at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
  • How do reach the salon if I have any questions?

  • Should I schedule a 1st Time Twist Cut?
    If you are new to the salon or it has been more than 3 years; please book a 1st Time Twist Cut. This option provides us with the time needed to reconnect with your goals and curl needs. Plus you will be treated to a complimentry Spa Mist experience!
  • What forms of payment do you take?
    We are happy to take cash Debit Cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa, Discover, American Express and MasterCard for service and retail purchases.
  • Tips? Who and how do I tip?
    As service providers gratuity is never expected, but always appreciated. Because we work as a team, your tip goes to your stylist. If anyone is helping your stylist, there is no need to tip them. It's okay to add a tip on your card but cash is always prefered.
  • Do you do kids cuts?
    Yes, we work with all ages. However, we do not have different rates per age or gender.
